Sleeping Peanut (the basic infant or “cradle” carry):

Best for newborns-4 months


1. With sling on (seam should be in line with your belly button) hold baby in a seated position

2. Open pouch outward with one arm while you
are supporting baby with the other

3. In seated position, begin to lower baby into
the sling bum first

4. Tuck in her legs, then open the pouch enough to allow her head to rest back against you comfortably

5. Pull fabric up on both sides & be sure baby is
supported by the sling
 

6. Enjoy!
 
   

Tummy to Tummy Carry

Newborn to 5 months

 

Back Carry

5 months and up


1. Hold baby's feet together with one hand
and open the pouch with
the other

2. Lower baby into pouch
(either with feet tucked in or feet out)
 

3. Adjust sling to support his back and enjoy!
 

1. Put baby into a Hip Carry then slide the entire sling (with baby) around to your back.
 

 

Kangaroo Carry

Best for 3 months - 9 months
The Kangaroo Carry is a favorite of many babies! This hold is great once baby has better head control. It allows them to still be snuggled against you while peeking out.

 

1. Hold baby with his back towards you 2. Pull his feet bottoms together and knees out, like a little yoga man 3. Open the pouch 4. Begin to lower him bottom first into the sling 5. Adjust the fabric to be sure he is supported & that his legs are comfortably crossed in front of him!

 

6. Adjust and go!
 

 

Hip Carry

Great for 5 months - Toddlers (36lbs)
 

1. With sling in place put Baby high onto unslinged
shoulder

2. Move sling completely over baby's legs by
tucking his legs
into the sling
 
3. Lower baby onto hip (Tip-His bum should be
in line with the seam)
 

4. Find inside layer of the
pouch. Pull INSIDE fabric
layer down and under baby's bottom to create
the seat
 

5. Pull up fabric on his back for added support
and comfort
 
6. Be sure the fabric is all the way to the backs
of his knees to create a deep seat. His bum
should also be below his knees
